

The Central Government has granted permission for the prestigious Gandhi Sarovar Project proposed by the Telangana Government at Bapu Ghat in Hyderabad as part of the Musi River Rejuvenation Project. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy expressed his gratitude to Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and the Indian Army for extending their support and approving the project.
The Chief Minister stated that the approval marks a significant milestone in achieving Telangana’s long-term development vision. He said the project would contribute to the comprehensive rejuvenation of the Musi River, improve riverfront development, and create environmental, cultural, and recreational spaces for the public. The initiative is also expected to boost tourism and enhance the quality of life for residents.
