CM Revanth Orders Probe into KCR Farmhouse Lands

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said the government would soon reveal who benefited and to what extent from the Dharani land records system. He said the inquiry into the Dharani-related issues is still underway through the SET. Reddy also alleged that the Telangana movement was used as a cover to acquire hundreds of acres of land worth thousands of crores. Referring to land holdings allegedly linked to the KCR family, he said the family collectively owns around 440 acres. These allegations are statements made by the Chief Minister and have not been independently established as facts.

Reddy also directed revenue officials to conduct a detailed inquiry into the lands around former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s Erravelli farmhouse. He referred to about 385 acres of disputed land and another 385 acres of government land in the area. Officials were asked to determine whether more than 700 acres are under KCR’s control and establish how much is private patta land and how much belongs to the government. The Chief Minister directed officials to complete the inquiry within 30 days and take appropriate action. He also said the land remaining after the inquiry would be distributed to Dalits.
