CBI Intensifies Probe into QNet Fraud Case

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has entered the QNet fraud case in Siddipet. Harikrishna, a resident of Veluru in Vargal mandal, had reportedly invested Rs 4 lakh in QNet after borrowing money. He later died by suicide after allegedly being unable to repay his debts. According to the complaint, Harikrishna left behind a suicide note alleging that he had been cheated by QNet. His father, Nagaraju, subsequently filed a complaint against QNet and Vihaan Direct Selling companies.

In March this year, the police transferred the case to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). Later, the state government handed over the investigation into the alleged role of QNet and Vihaan Direct Selling to the CBI. Based on the case registered at Gouraram Police Station, the CBI has now registered a fresh FIR. The case names 16 individuals, including directors associated with QNet and Vihaan Direct Selling. The agency is expected to investigate the alleged financial transactions, the role of the companies and the circumstances surrounding the fraud.
