The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has intensified its investigation into alleged irregularities in the evaluation of APPSC Group-1 examination answer scripts during the previous YSRCP government in Andhra Pradesh. As part of the probe, ED officials conducted searches at six locations in Hyderabad and one location in Guntur district. The Group-1 recruitment notification was issued in 2018, and the Mains examination was held in 2020. Allegations have surfaced that the answer scripts were evaluated by 66 individuals who were not qualified for the task.
The searches included the residence of former IPS officer and former APPSC secretary PSR Anjaneyulu. ED teams also searched the office of Camsine Media Private Limited in Panchavati Colony, Banjara Hills, and the residence of its managing director, P. Madhusudana Rao. Other locations included the TrueGrader Services office in Defence Colony, Secunderabad, residences in Neredmet and Venkatapuram in Alwal, and Aavasa Resort Highland in Chinakakani, Mangalagiri mandal, Guntur district. A case relating to the alleged irregularities was registered at Vijayawada's Suryaraopet Police Station in April 2025. Following an investigation by the Special Investigation Team (SIT), the ED has taken up the case to examine possible money-laundering aspects.
