Air pollution levels in the national capital, Delhi, are continuing to rise, causing serious concern among residents. Air quality has deteriorated across several parts of the city, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) crossing the 400 mark at 21 monitoring stations. Residents are facing difficulties due to the worsening pollution levels. Meanwhile, dense smog and dust have reduced visibility on roads, creating problems for commuters and motorists.
The pollution situation has also become a concern across the Delhi-NCR region. In response, authorities have implemented Stage 1 and Stage 2 measures under the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) to control pollution levels. Several preventive measures are being taken to improve air quality and reduce pollution. Officials are closely monitoring the situation, as prolonged exposure to heavily polluted air could pose serious risks to public health.
