India has witnessed a dramatic transformation in digital connectivity over the past 12 years, with data prices falling by nearly 97%. The cost of 1 GB data, which once stood at around ₹269, has now dropped sharply to just ₹8–10, making internet access highly affordable for millions across the country.
As a result, India’s internet user base has surged to over 103 crore users, marking one of the largest digital populations globally. Alongside this growth, the country has also achieved a new record in mobile phone exports, reflecting its rising strength in the global technology and manufacturing sector.
