Popular music composer Anirudh Ravichander is reportedly set to enter married life soon. He is said to be marrying Kavya Maran, daughter of Sun Group chairman Kalanithi Maran and owner of Sunrisers Hyderabad. Reports suggest that the destination wedding will take place in Greece on November 10 and 11, with wedding celebrations already said to have begun in Chennai. Amid the wedding buzz, another development concerning the composer has become a talking point in the film industry.
Anirudh has reportedly exited Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film King, directed by Siddharth Anand. Music duo Sachin–Jigar are said to be replacing him, although the development has not been officially confirmed. Reports suggest that Anirudh’s commitments to several South Indian films may have made it difficult for him to devote the required time to the project. It is not yet clear whether the decision was made by the filmmaker or the composer. Deepika Padukone stars opposite Shah Rukh Khan, while Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerji and others play key roles. The film is scheduled for a reported Christmas release on December 24.
