

Gold and silver prices, which had been climbing in recent weeks to record highs, have now witnessed a pause. Owing to fluctuations in international markets, domestic bullion prices have also shown a downward trend. Yesterday morning, the price of 24-carat gold (10 grams) stood at ₹1,57,740, while today it has fallen to ₹1,56,430 marking a decline of ₹1,310 in a single day. Market analysts suggest that gold prices may soften further in the coming days.
Silver prices have also recorded a marginal decline. On Monday, silver was priced at ₹2,68,000 per kilogram, which has now slipped to ₹2,67,900 on Tuesday a drop of ₹100 per kg.
