Malayalam cinema has once again proved the strength of content-driven films at the box office. Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju-starrer Bethlehem Kudumba Unit has created history by crossing the ₹300 crore mark worldwide in just 24 days. With its worldwide gross estimated at around ₹304.9–305 crore, the film has overtaken Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra to become the highest-grossing Malayalam film of all time.
The Girish AD directorial has achieved the feat with strong audience word-of-mouth and positive reception. It has also become the fastest Malayalam film to enter the ₹300 crore club, with Lokah taking around 45 days to reach the milestone. The film’s success further highlights the growing reach of Malayalam cinema, where compelling storytelling and audience response continue to drive major box-office numbers.
