Astronauts Play Football in Space

Astronauts aboard the International Space Station (ISS) recently took some time off from their busy schedules to play football in microgravity. NASA astronaut of Indian origin Anil Menon shared a video of the unique game on X. The footage shows the astronauts floating inside the space station while passing and kicking the ball towards the goal. Without the need to run on the ground, the game looked very different from a regular football match on Earth.

Sharing his experience, Menon said football was one activity that brought everyone together aboard the space station. He described the weekend game as a refreshing break that helped the crew relax and prepare for another busy week ahead. The unusual zero-gravity football session appeared to give the astronauts a fun and energetic way to unwind while in orbit.
