How to Follow the EPFO WhatsApp Channel?

The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has introduced an official WhatsApp channel for its members. Members with a UAN registered mobile number can use WhatsApp to track their PF balance, transactions and claim status. They can also receive updates on PF schemes, important announcements and notifications directly through the channel.

Members can join the channel by opening the official WhatsApp channel link and selecting the ‘Follow’ option. They can also scan the QR code shared through EPFO’s official social media accounts. Another option is to open the ‘Updates’ tab on WhatsApp, go to ‘Channels > Explore’, search for ‘EPFO’ and follow the verified channel.

However, the WhatsApp channel is intended mainly for information and updates. Members cannot use it to log in to their accounts, access complete account details or submit withdrawal claims directly. For such services, members should use the official EPFO portal or the UMANG app.
