A recent study by researchers at MIT in the United States has raised concerns about the possible side effects of artificial intelligence on human thinking abilities. The study divided students into three groups and tested their performance, revealing that those who relied on AI tools like ChatGPT showed a 55 percent reduction in brain activity compared to others.
Researchers noted that excessive use of AI may reduce independent thinking and weaken personal creativity and expression. The study suggests that while AI can be a useful tool, overdependence on it may impact cognitive skills and the ability to develop one’s own ideas.
