Nvidia unveiled a series of major innovations at Computex 2026, led by the launch of the new RTX Spark PC chip, designed to bring advanced artificial intelligence capabilities directly to laptops and desktop computers. Announcing the technology during his keynote address, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang described RTX Spark as a key step in reinventing the personal computer for the AI era. Developed in collaboration with Microsoft and MediaTek, the chip enables AI agents and large AI models to run locally on devices instead of relying entirely on cloud computing. The new platform is expected to power next-generation Windows PCs from leading manufacturers including Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft Surface and MSI later this year.
In addition to RTX Spark, Nvidia introduced the Vera CPU, DGX Station AI supercomputer, open-source AI agent tools, the Cosmos 3 foundational AI model and the Alpamayo 2 Super reasoning model. The company said these technologies are designed to accelerate AI development across sectors ranging from robotics and autonomous vehicles to enterprise computing. Nvidia also highlighted enhanced security features for AI-powered PCs and announced support for advanced creative workloads, gaming and large language models. The announcements reinforce Nvidia’s ambition to play a leading role in the future of AI-powered computing and software ecosystems.
