Telangana to Be Developed in Three Regions - CM Revanth Reddy

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said his government was developing the state by dividing it into three regions and focusing on planned infrastructure development. Speaking after inaugurating the newly constructed Musarambagh bridge across the Musi River, he questioned why the previous BRS government could not complete the bridge during its decade in power. He said his government completed the project within two years and announced plans to construct Indiramma houses on 10 acres in Amberpet, besides developing government offices in the area. Revanth Reddy also said Batukamma Kunta had been restored and dedicated to the poor, while accusing some individuals of attempting to encroach on public water bodies. He defended HYDRAA’s actions, saying the government was removing encroachments from lakes rather than constructing villas or farmhouses on them.

The Chief Minister also launched a sharp attack on the previous BRS administration over Telangana’s financial position. He claimed that the state’s debt increased substantially during the previous government and contrasted the financial situation then with the regular payment of salaries under his administration. Revanth Reddy said a 2,000-bed Osmania General Hospital was being constructed and would be inaugurated next year. He also announced plans to name four TIMS hospitals after prominent Telangana personalities. Referring to the caste census and general census, he said Telangana had demanded that the Centre conduct both exercises. Revanth Reddy further criticised former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao over the expenditure incurred on his salary, security and other facilities and demanded his resignation from the Leader of the Opposition post.
