Stockholm: Lovable, the popular AI-powered full-stack coding platform, has announced a partnership with cybersecurity firm Guardio to enhance website safety. Under this partnership, Lovable will integrate Guardio’s Safe Browsing Engine into its platform to detect and block malicious websites created using its generative AI tools.
The collaboration aims to protect Lovable’s users from accidentally visiting phishing or scam websites, as well as safeguard millions of internet users from potential cyberattacks. Guardio’s malicious website detection tool is now live and active on the Lovable platform.
In its press release, Lovable stated that it is moving towards safe website creation, ensuring that no unsafe or scam-related content can be published. The embedded Safe Browsing Engine will scan every website before it goes live to detect phishing, scams, impersonation, and malware.
If any suspicious elements are found, the system will automatically flag the website for review, and Lovable’s security team will take immediate action to remove it.
According to Lovable, this proactive method is superior to legacy tools, which often rely on a website’s domain reputation and can fail to detect newly created malicious sites.
“We believe the future of AI means putting security front and center, not as an afterthought. With Guardio scanning every Lovable site as it's published, bad actors trying to abuse our platform will hit a wall—and that wall will keep getting stronger as we scale,” said Igor Andriushchenko, Head of Security at Lovable.
Interestingly, Guardio’s earlier research, titled “VibeScamming” (April 2025), revealed that many vibe coding platforms were vulnerable to abuse for creating scam and phishing websites. The report found that Lovable allowed users to create malicious pages, host malware, and even track stolen data.
Following this report, Andriushchenko reached out to Guardio, which ultimately led to this partnership.
“Lovable is showing what it means to take real responsibility for how AI is used. Guardio is proud to be the detection layer that makes that possible. By catching abuse at the point of creation, we reduce internet-wide risks before harm can spread,” said Amos Peled, Co-Founder and CEO of Guardio.
