Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal is set to introduce a new kind of wearable technology called ‘Temple’, moving beyond familiar devices such as smartwatches, fitness bands and smart rings. Goyal has been building anticipation around the experimental wellness device for the past few months and has announced that Temple will soon be launched in India. The device is being positioned as a next-generation wearable designed to offer insights beyond conventional fitness tracking.
Temple has been developed as a high-performance wellness tracker, particularly with athletes in mind. It is designed to monitor brain and body activity and is said to go beyond standard fitness metrics. Featuring a lightweight design, the device can be comfortably worn around the temple area of the head.
