Kunamneni Criticises Congress Government, Says Ministers Lack Power

CPI MLA Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao has made critical remarks about the functioning of the Congress government. He alleged that ministers do not have the power to sanction funds for works under their respective departments and have to depend on the Finance Minister for approvals.

Kunamneni said this system is causing delays in the implementation of development works. He further alleged that contractors are also hesitant to come forward and take up projects due to the delays in fund sanctions.
