Dil Raju Praises Ravi Teja’s ‘Irumudi’

Prominent producer Dil Raju has showered praise on ‘Irumudi’, starring Ravi Teja in the lead role. He said the film’s success has not only benefited its team but has also brought renewed enthusiasm to the entire Telugu film industry. He made these remarks at the teaser launch event of ‘Kurma Avatara’ held on Monday.

Speaking at the event, Dil Raju said, “Irumudi has proved how much energy a good film can generate. The success of this movie has given all of us in the industry a great deal of encouragement. If audiences continue to turn up at theatres in large numbers like this, it will give producers like us a lot of confidence.”

Directed by Shiva Nirvana, ‘Irumudi’ is creating a storm at the box office. The film has reportedly grossed more than ₹180 crore worldwide within just 10 days and is rapidly heading towards the ₹200-crore mark. More than 7 million tickets have been sold so far across BookMyShow and District. In North America alone, the film has sold 125,000 tickets and grossed $1.5 million.
