Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S26 series globally early next year. The flagship lineup is likely to include three models — Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. Although Samsung has not officially confirmed the launch timeline, tipsters suggest that the phones may go on sale nearly a month after their global unveiling.
According to tipsters PhoneArt (@UniverseIce) and Momentary Digital, the Galaxy S26 series could be introduced in February 2026, with sales beginning in March 2026. This information surfaced shortly after Samsung unveiled its new Exynos 2600 chipset, the world’s first 2nm processor, which is expected to power the Galaxy S26 lineup in select regions. Other markets may receive variants equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
The Exynos 2600 SoC is built using advanced Gate-All-Around (GAA) technology and integrates the CPU, GPU, and NPU into a compact platform, offering improved AI performance and enhanced gaming capabilities. Despite these performance upgrades, reports suggest that the Galaxy S26 series may not see major camera improvements. The base Galaxy S26 is expected to retain the same camera setup as the Galaxy S25, a move reportedly made to control rising manufacturing costs.
Industry sources also indicate that the Galaxy S26 lineup could be priced higher than its predecessor. Samsung is said to be allocating a large portion of its budget toward chipsets and memory components, including RAM. To remain competitive on pricing, plans for upgraded camera hardware were reportedly dropped.
