

Australia continues its dominance in the five-Test Ashes series against England. After winning the first two matches, the Kangaroos secured a victory in the third Test in Adelaide by 82 runs, clinching the series 3-0 ahead of schedule. Chasing a massive target of 435 runs on the fifth day, England were all out for 352. Although Zak Crawley (85), Jamie Smith (60), and Will Jacks (47) put up some resistance, the Australian bowlers increased the pressure, causing England to collapse completely.
Earlier, Australia, resuming their second innings at the overnight score of 271/4, were all out for 349. Despite being in a strong position at one stage at 311/4, the Kangaroos quickly lost 6 wickets, missing out on a much larger score. Travis Head (170) played a magnificent innings, laying a strong foundation for the team. Josh Tongue (4/70) and Brydon Carse (3/80) restricted the Australian batting. In the first innings, Australia scored 371 and England scored 286.
Australian wicket-keeper Alex Carey was named Player of the Match for his crucial contributions of 106 runs in the first innings and 72 runs in the second innings. Although the remaining matches in the series are generating excitement, Australia has already secured the Ashes title. The fourth Test will begin on December 26th in Melbourne.
