

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first cricket franchise in the world to surpass a brand valuation of $300 million, according to the latest brand valuation report released by global investment bank Houlihan Lokey. The report values RCB's brand at ₹2,986 crore, placing it at the top among all cricket franchises worldwide. Mumbai Indians follow with a brand value of ₹2,526 crore, while Kolkata Knight Riders (₹2,344 crore) and Chennai Super Kings (₹2,335 crore) occupy the next positions.
The report also underlines the Indian Premier League's growing global influence, noting that digital viewership continues to rise with every season. Recently, United Spirits Limited sold the RCB franchise to a consortium comprising Blackstone, Bolt Ventures, Aditya Birla Group, and The Times of India for approximately ₹16,705 crore, reflecting the soaring commercial value of the franchise and the IPL ecosystem.
