

At a public meeting held in Jagtial, BRS chief K. Chandrashekar Rao made strong remarks on current governance and future plans. He criticized the implementation of the HYDRA system in Hyderabad, alleging that similar measures could be extended to other districts. He also expressed concern over demolition drives where people are not given sufficient time to vacate their homes.
KCR stated that if the BRS returns to power, his first signature would be to abolish the HYDRA system. He questioned the fairness of demolishing houses of poor families near the Musi River in the name of development. During the event, senior leader Jeevan Reddy joined the BRS. KCR welcomed him into the party and immediately appointed him as the party’s General Secretary. He also assigned him responsibilities across regions including Jagtial, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, and Adilabad.
KCR described Jeevan Reddy as a courageous leader and highlighted their long-standing association of around 40 years. He praised his dedication to public service. Speaking on governance, KCR recalled that uninterrupted 24-hour electricity supply was achieved during the BRS tenure and criticized the current implementation of welfare schemes like Rythu Bandhu.
He also reflected on the Telangana movement, recalling the struggles faced during that period and reaffirming his commitment to public welfare. Expressing confidence, KCR said that the BRS will return to power and continue working for the development of Telangana.
