Chiyaan Vikram and director Gautham Vasudev Menon’s long-delayed film ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ is facing yet another hurdle ahead of its release. Although the film was completed several years ago, it has remained unreleased due to an ongoing dispute between the producers and investors that is being heard in court. After several postponements and proposals, Menon had earlier approached the Madras High Court seeking permission to release the film on June 15, 2026, but the planned release did not happen.
Now, Gautham Vasudev Menon has reportedly approached the Madras High Court again, seeking an extension until September 30, 2026, to release the much awaited film starring Vikram. Justice Senthil Kumar Ramamoorthy has adjourned the hearing on the request to September 11, 2026. With the film’s release still dependent on the court proceedings, fans will have to wait for the final decision.
