Agriculture Minister Kinjarapu Atchannaidu stated that the government is committed to improving the welfare of farmers through the implementation of the Panchasutras. He noted that for the past 17 months, the government has been working continuously to strengthen agriculture and support farmers.
The Minister is set to launch the 'Raitanna Meekosam' program on Monday in Ghantasala, Krishna district. Speaking about the initiative, he mentioned that awareness campaigns will be carried out across all villages until the 29th of this month, directly visiting farmers at their homes. He said the Panchasutras are aimed at making agriculture more advanced and beneficial to farmers.
He announced that workshops will be held at every RSK (Rythu Seva Kendram) on the 3rd of next month. These sessions will cover water security, demand-based crop planning, agri-tech, food processing, government support systems, and farmer-awareness programs.
The Minister added that the workshops will be useful for farmers from all sectors, including agriculture, horticulture, sericulture, aquaculture, dairy, poultry, and sheep rearing. He instructed RSK staff to lead the 'Raitanna Meekosam' activities and ensure proper implementation of action plans at each centre.
