West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee expressed strong confidence in winning the state Assembly elections, stating that the ‘Maa-Mati-Manush’ (Mother, Land, People) ideology will once again prevail. She urged voters to protect Bengal’s rich culture and heritage and to reject divisive forces. Mamata thanked the public for their overwhelming response to her recent padyatra and shared her message through a detailed post on X ahead of the end of second-phase campaigning.
Taking a sharp dig at the Bharatiya Janata Party, she said that divisive and destructive forces have no place in the state. Mamata emphasized that unity, culture, and civilization are Bengal’s pride and asserted that people will teach a fitting lesson to those trying to undermine them. She highlighted the government’s welfare initiatives, stating that development is progressing in all directions and no force can obstruct it, reinforcing her belief in a decisive victory.
