TVK Chief Vijay to Appear Before CBI Today

TVK party chief Vijay is scheduled to appear before the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in New Delhi today. The CBI had issued summons to him six days ago, asking him to appear for questioning in connection with the Karur stampede incident. Party sources said that Vijay will fully cooperate with the investigation.

The stampede occurred during a rally held in Karur in September last year, resulting in the death of 41 people. Following the incident, the Supreme Court ordered a CBI probe into the matter. The investigation is currently underway, and Vijay’s appearance is part of the ongoing inquiry.
