Kannada star Yash has revealed that his ambition is to take Indian cinema to the global stage. Actress Sai Pallavi recently shared his perspective with fans during a promotional event for Ramayana in Hyderabad. She recalled asking Yash whether he would return to making small, charming romantic films. According to Sai Pallavi, Yash explained that he now has the opportunity to work on big-budget projects and wants to use it to introduce Kannada, South Indian and Indian cinema to audiences worldwide. His remarks offer insight into why he is currently focusing on large-scale productions rather than the romantic and family dramas he was known for earlier in his career.
Before the KGF franchise transformed his career, Yash appeared in Kannada films such as Googly, Mr. and Mrs. Ramachari and Kirataka. The enormous success of KGF: Chapter 1 and KGF: Chapter 2 elevated him into a pan-Indian star, with the franchise earning more than ₹1,200 crore worldwide, according to the supplied report. Yash has also been associated with Toxic, directed by Geetu Mohandas, and is playing a key role as both actor and co-producer in the ambitious Ramayana. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film features Ranbir Kapoor as Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana. The supplied report states that the film is scheduled for a worldwide release on November 5.
