Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Mahesh Goud has strongly criticised the conduct of BRS MLAs. He said the Congress never wished for the death of former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR). Goud said KCR was moved through a green channel during his surgery and that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy personally visited him at the hospital. He added that respecting opposition leaders is part of the Congress culture.
Responding to the allegations raised by BRS leaders, Mahesh Goud referred to K. Kavitha’s earlier remarks that Harish Rao performed prayers seeking harm to KCR. Goud claimed that those wishing harm to KCR were members of his own family. He made the remarks while responding to criticism from BRS leaders over the recent political developments in Telangana.
