Speaking in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly on the motion of thanks to the Governor’s address, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu stated that the state is gradually recovering from the damage caused during the previous regime. He said the TDP, BJP, and Jana Sena worked together for the reconstruction of the state. Recalling the developments between 2019 and 2024, he remarked that many people, including himself, were deeply hurt by the manner in which the Assembly was conducted. He alleged that leaders who once obstructed others are now preaching values, adding that people observe every issue carefully and deliver their verdict at the right time. The Chief Minister thanked the Union Government for supporting the state when it was in a critical condition and noted that seven white papers were released upon assuming office to detail the damage done earlier.
Naidu emphasized that his government is delivering balanced governance with equal focus on welfare and development. He stated that Rs 2,750 crore per month is being distributed under the NTR Bharosa pension scheme, amounting to Rs 33,000 crore annually. Through Thalliki Vandanam, financial assistance has been extended to all children in eligible families. He highlighted that 43.5 crore journeys have been facilitated under the Stree Shakti scheme, while Deepam 2.0 provides three free gas cylinders annually to women. Under Annadata Sukhibhava, farmers are receiving Rs 20,000 in three installments. Anna Canteens are being established in all constituencies. He said Public Private Partnership projects are creating wealth through infrastructure development, and the P4 initiative aims to support the poorest sections. Stressing that wealth creation is essential for welfare distribution, he described Zero Poverty as a model initiative for poverty eradication in the country.
