The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leadership has reportedly accepted the explanation submitted by senior leader Bonda Umamaheswara Rao over his participation in the memorial meeting of Mudragada Padmanabham, where he was also seen interacting with YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders. Bonda Uma appeared before the party's three-member committee and explained the circumstances surrounding the incident. Following the meeting, the party leadership is understood to have expressed satisfaction with his clarification.
According to party sources, senior TDP leader Palla Srinivasa Rao and Minister Nimmala Ramanaidu advised Bonda Uma that internal party matters should be discussed within the party forum rather than in public. They reportedly reminded him of the TDP's contributions to the Kapu community and urged caution while making public statements. However, the leaders are said to have clarified that the party did not object to his attendance at the memorial meeting itself.
