Hero MotoCorp, one of India’s leading two-wheeler manufacturers, reported a consolidated net profit of ₹1,861 crore for the quarter ended September. This marks a 42% increase compared with the ₹1,308 crore recorded in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The company’s revenue from operations also registered strong growth, rising 23% from ₹12,218 crore to ₹14,971 crore during the quarter. Hero MotoCorp attributed its improved performance partly to robust demand for its motorcycles and scooters, with total sales reaching 18.68 lakh units during the September quarter.
The company also reported significant growth in its scooter and electric mobility segments. Scooter sales increased by a record 47%, while sales of its Vida electric scooters surged by 76%, reflecting rising demand in these categories. In another major development, Hero MotoCorp entered the German market during the quarter, expanding its international presence. Germany became the company’s 54th international market, marking another step in its global expansion strategy. Strong overall sales, rising scooter demand and growth in electric mobility contributed to the company’s performance during the quarter.
