Resort politics appears to have begun in Tamil Nadu as Vijay, chief of the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), takes precautionary measures to secure his party’s winning candidates. Anticipating a tight contest and possible hung assembly as suggested by exit polls, Vijay has reportedly booked a private resort in Mahabalipuram to keep his MLAs together.
According to party sources, candidates have been instructed to head directly to the resort immediately after results are declared to avoid poaching attempts by rival parties. The move comes a day before counting, reflecting growing political uncertainty in the state and highlighting strategic efforts to maintain unity within the party ranks.
