KTR’s mindset shows no sign of change

Minister Sridhar Babu raised the flag against false claims made by BRS Working President KTR regarding the industrial policy. He criticized KTR for spreading misinformation despite ongoing efforts to implement the policy effectively. The minister emphasized that KTR’s mindset shows no signs of change.

Sridhar Babu accused the previous government of financial irregularities. “The GO to convert lease lands into freehold was introduced by the previous government. Now, the Congress government is attempting to impose an impact fee on freehold lands. The 30% land value cited by KTR is incorrect… it only refers to the conversion fee. There is no link between lease lands and freehold lands,” he clarified.

The minister said KTR’s remarks are misleading. By connecting land conversion to politics, KTR is creating confusion, while the previous BRS government also converted numerous lands. He criticized BRS leaders for obstructing investments and using intimidation for political gains. Those interested in industries can apply, and the individuals KTR mentioned are not part of the government, he clarified.
