BRS Parliamentary Party Leader and Rajya Sabha MP Vaddiraju Ravichandra has called on party cadres to help eligible graduates register as voters ahead of the upcoming Telangana Legislative Council elections. Elections to the Nalgonda-Khammam-Warangal and Hyderabad-Mahabubnagar-Rangareddy graduate constituencies are expected to be held in March next year. In a statement, Ravichandra said the voter registration process is underway and eligible graduates must submit their applications by November 6.
BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao has appointed Ravichandra as the party’s in-charge for the Kothagudem Assembly constituency in this context. Ravichandra urged party workers to reach out personally to unemployed graduates, postgraduate and PhD students, teachers, employees, doctors, lecturers, retired employees, journalists, lawyers and LIC agents to help them complete voter registration. He also asked cadres to explain the development initiatives and welfare schemes implemented during former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao’s ten-year tenure, while presenting the party’s criticism of the current Congress government, as they interact with graduates.
