Union Minister Kiran Rijiju strongly reacted to Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s remarks and said India should not be divided on the basis of North and South. He stated that such narratives are unnecessary and every citizen of the country should be seen first as an Indian.
He further highlighted that India’s constitutional leadership represents unity in diversity. The President is from Odisha’s tribal community, the Prime Minister is from Gujarat, and the Vice President is from Tamil Nadu, showing that leadership comes from all regions of the country.
