Key Bills to Come Before Telangana Assembly Today

The Telangana Legislative Assembly is scheduled to take up several important bills and issues on Friday. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will seek the Assembly’s permission to introduce the Core Urban Region Bill and is also expected to move a proposal for the approval of the Municipalities Bill. Minister Sridhar Babu will seek permission to introduce the Telangana Public Trust Bill.

The Assembly will also hold short-duration discussions on important policy matters. One discussion will focus on the 2027 Census and the proposal to request the Centre to include BC and OBC categories in the second phase questionnaire. Another discussion will cover the changes and reforms undertaken in the education sector in Telangana.
