West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee alerted her party workers after several exit polls predicted favourable results for the BJP. In a video message, she urged leaders and workers to remain vigilant at counting centres on May 4 and closely monitor every stage of the counting process.
She alleged that the exit poll predictions were part of a conspiracy to weaken the morale of Trinamool Congress workers. Meanwhile, TMC leaders staged a protest outside an EVM storage centre in Kolkata, alleging irregularities. The Election Commission rejected the claims, stating that sealing procedures were conducted in the presence of candidates and authorised agents.
