Mahesh Kumar Goud, TPCC President and MLC, expressed happiness over the Congress-led UDF’s resounding victory in Keralam. He described the win as historic, noting that the party secured close to 100 seats out of 140, marking a decisive mandate in favour of the Congress.
Goud stated that the campaign led by Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, along with several ministers and leaders, had a strong impact on voters. He highlighted that showcasing Telangana’s governance model played a crucial role in influencing public opinion. He added that this victory would further strengthen the Congress party in Telangana and boost confidence for future elections.
He also congratulated Vijay for the success of his TVK party in Tamil Nadu. Commenting on West Bengal, Goud alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party engaged in conspiratorial politics, including manipulation of voter rolls under SIR and misuse of institutions. He stressed that the INDIA alliance must review the results of the five-state elections and work together to counter such political strategies.
