Telangana Revenue, Housing, and Information Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy stated that the state government is ready to respond to any issue raised in the Assembly. Speaking to the media at the Secretariat in Hyderabad on Monday, the minister urged BRS legislators, including Opposition leader K. Chandrashekar Rao, to attend the Assembly sessions scheduled to begin on the 16th of this month. He said the government is fully prepared to answer every question raised by the opposition with proper evidence and transparency. However, he alleged that the opposition is entering the Assembly with its own agenda rather than focusing on public issues.
The minister also assured that the government would provide complete justice to the Velugumatla displaced families in Khammam district. He said Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has already issued clear directions on the matter, and eligible families will soon receive house sites along with Indiramma housing scheme benefits. Responding strongly to allegations made by BRS leaders regarding a crusher unit near the Outer Ring Road (ORR), Ponguleti dismissed the claims as baseless and said the quarry does not belong to him. He asserted that he would give a strong and factual reply to these accusations in the Assembly.
