TDP MLA and Sangam Dairy Chairman Dhulipalla Veeraiah strongly criticised the YSRCP, alleging political vendetta and misinformation campaigns against him and Sangam Dairy. Addressing the media, he said attempts were made to implicate him by filing multiple cases and even keeping him in jail for 33 days, but no wrongdoing was proven. He accused the previous YSRCP government of misusing power, hacking servers, and spreading false propaganda. Referring to the Tirumala laddu controversy, he claimed that the NDDB had confirmed the presence of adulteration in ghee during the previous regime and questioned how ghee was supplied at unusually low prices without proper raw materials.
Dhulipalla asserted that Sangam Dairy secured the TTD ghee tender only after fulfilling all technical and scientific norms, dismissing allegations of political favouritism. He clarified that Heritage had not supplied even a single batch of ghee to TTD and maintained that Sangam Dairy belongs to Guntur farmers, while Sreeja Dairy supports women in Chittoor. He alleged that funds linked to adulterated ghee had been diverted and challenged YSRCP leaders to accept responsibility. Warning that wrongdoing at the abode of Lord Venkateswara would not go unpunished, he said those who desecrated the sanctity of Tirumala Laddu would inevitably face consequences.
