Following the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan, CJP spokesperson Saurav Das said accountability over alleged education paper leaks should not be limited to one state or one political party. Speaking during a television interview, Das stated that every government must be held to the same standard, irrespective of which party is in power.
Das said CJP had already conveyed this position to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and would continue to maintain the same stand. He asserted that any education minister who fails to discharge their responsibilities should be held accountable. His remarks have triggered fresh political debate, with many questioning whether similar standards should be applied across all states facing allegations of irregularities in the education system.
