Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu visited the sacred Tirumala Venkateswara Temple on Saturday morning and offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara. The visit coincided with the birthday of his grandson Nara Devansh, and the Chief Minister fulfilled vows along with his family members. Officials of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams and temple priests accorded him a traditional welcome at the Mahadwaram with Purna Kumbham and auspicious musical instruments. Amid Vedic chants, he was escorted into the temple following customary rituals.
Accompanied by his wife Nara Bhuvaneswari, son Nara Lokesh, and grandson Devansh, the Chief Minister entered the temple through the Vaikuntham Queue Complex. It has been a long-standing tradition for the family to visit the temple every year on Devansh’s birthday and donate for Annadanam. After the darshan, priests offered Vedic blessings to the family at the Ranganayakula Mandapam and presented sacred theertham and prasadam. Elaborate security arrangements were put in place in Tirumala in view of the Chief Minister’s visit.
