Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia have approached the Delhi High Court seeking dismissal of the CBI’s criminal revision petition challenging their discharge in the Delhi excise policy case. In their applications, the AAP leaders have raised objections to the maintainability of the CBI’s plea.
Kejriwal and Sisodia have argued that the CBI filed its revision petition within four hours of the trial court’s judgment, describing the move as being undertaken with “unprecedented haste” and in an “unserious manner”. The Rouse Avenue Court had discharged Kejriwal, Sisodia and the other accused in February 2026, following which the CBI challenged the order before the Delhi High Court.
