Bitcoin remained under pressure on Friday, trading near $63,291, equivalent to around Rs.60.37 lakh, as the broader cryptocurrency market struggled to gain momentum. Ethereum was trading near $1,882, or approximately Rs.1.79 lakh. Bitcoin declined about 0.83 percent over the previous 24 hours, while major altcoins showed mixed and largely limited movement.
Market participants said softer US inflation readings have not been enough to trigger a sustained recovery in Bitcoin. Weak spot-market liquidity and subdued institutional demand continue to weigh on prices. Bitcoin’s daily spot trading volume has reportedly fallen sharply compared with its February peak, while Bitcoin ETFs have also recorded significant outflows. Investors are closely monitoring Federal Reserve policy signals, geopolitical developments and Bitcoin’s ability to reclaim key resistance levels around $64,000-$66,000.
