Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu made significant remarks about Jana Sena Party chief and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. Once again, he addressed him as “my friend.” Though he has made similar remarks earlier, this time he emphasized it even more strongly.
“My friend and I constantly think in the same direction. We make use of every possible opportunity to work for the welfare of the people. Both of us discuss issues related to the poor and continuously think about what benefits or harms the public,” he said. He clarified that though their parties are different, their ideology remains the same.
The Chief Minister stated that the state still has several financial challenges. He criticized the previous YSRCP government, saying they had sold almost everything and even mortgaged 25 years of liquor revenue to take loans. While fixing these issues, the current government is simultaneously initiating welfare programs for the people.
“The poor should not remain poor. My friend and I are working on several ideas to uplift them. There is no question of compromising on this. We have already brought investments worth ₹23 lakh crore into the state. These will soon be grounded, creating employment and livelihood opportunities for lakhs of people,” Chandrababu said.
