

A tense situation prevailed after a bomb threat was issued to the Telangana Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) and the Lok Bhavan. A mail, reportedly sent to the Governor’s Office in the name of a person called Khan, claimed that there was a plot to blow up the CMO and Lok Bhavan. The email warned authorities to immediately evacuate the premises.
Responding swiftly, officials initiated high-security measures. Bomb squads were deployed, and intensive checks were carried out in and around the CMO and Lok Bhavan. Meanwhile, the police have launched a detailed investigation into the origin and authenticity of the threat mail.
In a separate incident, Shamshabad Airport once again received a bomb threat. An email claimed that a bomb had been planted on a flight heading from Hyderabad to the United States. The sender demanded one million dollars to prevent the bomb from exploding. Authorities immediately moved the aircraft to the isolation bay and conducted thorough checks. Investigation revealed that the email originated from New York.
