

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy emphasized the need to strengthen the healthcare sector in the state, aiming for Telangana to contribute over 50% of the country’s medical services in the future. He assured that the government will take all necessary policy decisions to support this vision. The Chief Minister inaugurated a new facility of Apollo Hospitals at the Financial District, Hyderabad along with Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha. He also appreciated the efforts of founder Dr. Prathap C. Reddy and the management team.
He highlighted that the government has introduced a dedicated policy to promote medical tourism and is working towards improving international connectivity, especially with West Asian countries. Revanth Reddy assured full support and security for investments in the healthcare sector. He noted that Hyderabad has grown into a major pharmaceutical hub, contributing nearly 40% of the country’s bulk drug exports.
He praised Apollo Hospitals for its journey from a small beginning in Chennai to becoming a nationally recognized healthcare brand, now launching its 76th branch. He also expressed hope for the organization to reach its 100th branch milestone by 2028. The Chief Minister also appreciated Apollo’s contribution to women empowerment and its role as a model institution in the healthcare sector.
The event was attended by Sangeeta Reddy, Shobana Kamineni, Upasana Kamineni Konidela, along with other officials and medical professionals.
