An active low-pressure area over the north Bay of Bengal and adjoining regions has triggered widespread rainfall across several parts of Telangana. The weather department reported rainfall recorded at various locations between 8:30 AM and 9 PM on Saturday. Kannepalli in Mancherial district recorded the highest rainfall at 135.5 mm, followed by Rebbena in Kumuram Bheem district with 96.3 mm.
Rayaparthy in Warangal district received 95.8 mm of rainfall, while Wardhannapet recorded 82.0 mm during the period. The weather department said light rainfall is likely to continue in several districts on Sunday. Residents in affected areas have been advised to remain alert as weather conditions may vary across districts.
