‘L.I.C’ Hits OTT: Streaming Begins May 6th

The film L.I.C – Love Insurance Company, starring Pradeep Ranganathan as the lead, is now set to reach OTT audiences. Released in theaters in April, the movie will begin streaming on the popular digital platform Amazon Prime Video starting May 6th. An official poster announcing this news has been released. Notably, the Telugu audio track for the film will also be available. Director Vignesh Shivan has crafted a captivating, futuristic love story infused with his signature comedic flair. Krithi Shetty stars as the female lead opposite Pradeep, while S.J. Suryah appears in the role of the antagonist.

The film's narrative is set against a futuristic backdrop, unfolding in the year 2040. S.J. Suryah plays the character who establishes an organization called the "Love Insurance Company," which offers insurance coverage in the event of a failed romance. The storyline revolves around a specialized app designed to appeal to the youth, serving as the medium through which romantic relationships are formed. Deema, a young woman played by Krithi Shetty, also utilizes this app in her search for the perfect partner.

Meanwhile, a young man named Vasu—who typically steers clear of excessive phone usage—falls in love with Deema. He joins the app specifically for her sake, bringing them closer together. However, when the app assigns them a low "Love Score," she decides to end the relationship. The core of the story then explores how Vasu manages to win back his love and how he exacts revenge on the individual responsible for creating this predicament.
