Despite the ceasefire between United States and Iran, tensions continue to escalate in West Asia due to ongoing warnings from both sides. Amid these developments, the large-scale transfer of military equipment from the US to Israel has raised serious concerns. Reports suggest that within just 24 hours, Israel received around 6,500 tonnes of military supplies, including weapons, ammunition, military trucks, and Joint Light Tactical Vehicles via cargo ships and aircraft arriving at Ashdod and Haifa ports. Since the launch of ‘Operation Roaring Lion’ on February 28, over 1,15,600 tonnes of equipment have reportedly been supplied.
Meanwhile, new military strategies targeting Iran are believed to have been prepared by the US Central Command and presented to Donald Trump. The plans reportedly include powerful, short-duration strikes on Iran’s infrastructure to push Tehran towards negotiations. Additionally, the US is said to be considering control over parts of the Strait of Hormuz. Washington continues to demand that Iran abandon its nuclear weapons program and is also exploring options to seize enriched uranium, indicating the possibility of renewed large-scale conflict.
